FOURTH TEAM

The 4's remain in Midlands 4B for the 2018/19 season, with sights set on promotion after a solid 2nd place finish term. They will also participate in the Midlands Cup Competition, and will be hoping for a cup run.

Last season yielded a very competitive season for the 4's, ending only 2 points off promotion. Winning 7 of the 10 games is a sign of the hard work paying off for both the coaching staff and players, and hope to go one better next year. Sean O Keefe led the team honourably, finding a good formula between experience and youth in the side. 

​

The 4s will, as will all other squads, train twice a week, on Monday and Friday evenings, at both DRSV and Jubilee 3G pitches, with matches on Wednesdays. The boys will benefit from high quality training sessions throughout the year, as well as having a different angle of expertise when the appointment of new coaches occurs.

​

It looks like this year's squad is younger than seasons past, with an influx of talented Freshers predicted from this year's trials, also expected. It will be a physical test for the young squad, but the level of coaching and talent already present in the club should ensure the 4s maintain a high standard throughout the year.
